St. Anthony of Padua Nursery and Primary School is a basic learning institution. It is run by the Conventual Franciscan Friars in the Catholic diocese of Meru, Kenya. It is in Ruiri Catholic Mission, next to Ruiri market along the Ruiri/Kianjai road. It has three pre-school classes (play group, PP1 and PP2) and eight primary school classes (CBC and 8-4-4). It is also in the process of integrating the competency based curriculum (CBC) currently being rolled out by the government through the ministry of education.

Through this apostolate, the Order touches minds and transforms lives of young people with the aim of uplifting the living standards of the local population. The catchment community lives in a semi-arid environment.

As a result, many families place their hopes for social and economic transformation on their children. This makes education the greatest investment for every family. St. Anthony of Padua stands as a beacon of hope for young people aspiring to be well-positioned for career opportunities. Faith and quality education is our promise.
