CHALLENGES:
- PHYSICAL
Majority of Parishoners have low income earnings and a bigger number have no stable work at all, resulting into a large number of dependents. A considerable number of them come to Church for hand-outs as a means of survival.
Any initiated development in the Parish takes a long time to complete due to inadequate financial power and most of developments in the parish have been successful through donations from well- wishers both locally and overseas.
- SPIRITUAL
Sacramental life of the Church here is another outstanding challenge that we have to muscle with. Due to high rates of polygamous marriage, a good number of the Parishioners cannot participate fully in the Sacramental life of the Church. Still on the same line, a good number of adults are not baptized and for quite long they have stayed like that despite even some of them making attempts to attend Holy Masses on Sundays and other given days of obligations. This is due to ignorance for some, thus prompting the need for adult catechesis, while for others is just that they are not decided due to the facts that they are not yet ready to part with animism which is also high in this part of Coast.
Those are some of our Challenges we go through daily and many others just to mention a few.
